Shabbat Services
Everyone is welcome at every Shabbat service.
Kabbalat Shabbat Services
2nd, 4th and 5th Friday of each month
6:30 pm
As of November 2011, M'kor Shalom will hold early services on the second, fourth and, where applicable, the fifth Friday nights of the month.
These Kabbalat Shabbat services will follow a similar time frame and format as our summer services, and will be preceded by refreshments.
It is our hope that, like the summer experience, the congregation will reflect a more inter-generational profile. As the earlier time will be
easier for families to attend, this new schedule will preclude the need for separate family services.
Erev Shabbat Services
1st and 3rd Friday of each month
8:00 pm
The first and third Friday evenings will remain an 8:00 pm start time to accommodate those who prefer a later, traditional service.
This revised schedule will also enable us to expand Shabbat programming. It will allow families to come to services together and enjoy a family Shabbat meal at home.
